EcoRegistry is a pioneer platform in Colombia and in Latin America based on blockchain technology for the issuance, monitoring and cancellation of carbon offsets, contributing to the mitigation of climate change. Based on our knowledge of Technology 4.0 we aim to provide different services of sustainability, facilitating the registration of projects and Carbon offsets, contributing to the reliability, simplicity, transparency and guaranteeing traceability of information in the carbon market. EcoRegistry is a mean to boost and provide reliability to the carbon market with aims to fight against climate change.
The Registro Crediti di Carbonio builds on projects certified by CERCARBONO.
CERCARBONO is a private standard, a voluntary programme for the certification of carbon credits. It aims to facilitate and guarantee the registration of projects for the removal or reduction of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, the verification of emissions and the registration of carbon credits generated from these projects.
In 2019, CERCARBONO started releasing the first declarations, beginning with forestry projects and building a robust and reliable certification programme with time. Later on, a Protocol was created that contained major guidelines with which projects must comply. This document allows projects to be aligned with legal regulations, operate efficiently, and be carried out by competent and expert personnel.
CERCARBONO is a member of the International Emissions Trading Association (IETA).
